SanjaRaised in Edmonton, Dr. Kostov completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Alberta in 2013. She joined the Royal Alexandra Family Medicine Centre in 2017 following 5 years of full scope practice in the Edmonton area. She currently serves as the academic director for the Macewan University Health Centre and the women’s health curriculum coordinator for the University of Alberta Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Kostov’s practice interests include women’s health and contraception, maternity and newborn care, primary care obstetrics and medical education. When Dr. Kostov is not at the MUHC she is delivering babies or teaching medical students and resident doctors. In her spare time she enjoys trying new fitness classes, exploring Edmonton’s restaurants and wine bars, or getting away to the mountains. |
