Dr. Martin Tieu

Dr. Tieu was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. After spending a few years in the Canadian Armed Forces and completing medical school at the University of British Columbia, he moved to Edmonton for residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Alberta.

Upon graduation from his residency program in 2018, Dr. Tieu joined the MacEwan University Health Centre group (formerly the Royal Alexandra Family Medicine Centre).

Dr. Tieu is very happy to offer a full-service family practice, with a special interest in prenatal care, palliative care, education of medical learners, and leveraging electronic health records to enhance patient care. He was drawn to the specialty of Family Medicine by the opportunity to form long-term relationships, with the goal of providing comprehensive, cradle-to-grave care.

In his spare time, Dr. Tieu attempts to get his golf handicap down to double digits.
