Dr. Henrique Fernandes

Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Fernandes completed his Residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Alberta in 2017.  He subsequently began working at the old MacEwan clinic in January 2018, prior to joining the MacEwan University Health Centre when it opened its doors in July 2018.

Dr. Fernandes's practice interests include surgical screening, minor operations, student health, and quality improvement. He is hopeful that in the coming years the use of "big data" in the medical field will be able to greatly improve the efficiency of healthcare delivery.
He is an avid soccer player, and tries to play as often as he can during his spare time.
