Dr. Ginetta Salvalaggio

Dr. Salvalaggio grew up in central Alberta and is an almost-lifelong Albertan. She completed her MD at the University of Alberta, and her residency in Family Medicine in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Alberta, and the associate scientific director of the Inner City Health and Wellness Program. 

Professional interests include patient engagement, transitions in care, urban underserved populations, maternity care, and addiction medicine. 

Personal interests include getting outside and off grid (especially the mountains), growing and cooking good food, and music.
